Residential Interior

KARTHIK HOUSE

Karthik House

Vision & Concept

The vision behind Karthik House was to design a peaceful, refined home for a modern family. The goal was to merge aesthetic elegance with everyday functionality — to create spaces that are both visually beautiful and practically livable. EpicInfra approached this project by understanding the client’s lifestyle, tastes, and routines, then translating them into interiors that feel personal.

Design Themes & Palette

  • Contemporary Minimalism: Clean lines, uncluttered layouts, and subtle transitions between spaces keep the home feeling open and breezy.

  • Soft Earthy Tones: Shades like muted beiges, warm browns, and terracotta were used to evoke comfort and warmth, while accent textures (wood, stone, fabric) add character.

  • Ambient & Layered Lighting: Lighting was planned intentionally—ambient, task, and accent lighting work together to highlight surfaces, textures, and focal points in different ways across the day.

  • Harmonized Zoning: Each area (living room, bedrooms, modular kitchen, pooja space) has its own identity, but the overall flow and visual language connect them into a cohesive whole.

Challenges & Solutions

  • Balancing openness vs privacy: The design ensures fluid connectivity across spaces while maintaining private zones (bedrooms, pooja) subtly zoned.

  • Coordinating textures & finishes: To ensure harmony, material palettes (wood, stone, fabric) were chosen to interrelate across rooms.

  • Lighting integration: Thoughtful layering of lighting types was employed so that ambiance changes throughout the day feel natural and intentional.

Outcome & Client Experience

The final result is a home that feels warm, calm, and refined. Every room reflects the client’s personality and lifestyle without compromising on style or functionality. The harmony of design — where each space has its own identity yet feels part of a whole — is the hallmark of this project.
